Strauss announced on Wednesday, 5 Nissan, that kosher for Pesach Tortit brownies are being recalled because of “extraordinary smell and taste” having to do with rum and nuts extracts for Pesach.

Strauss is working to have the product removed from store shelves, stressing it is a matter of taste, and the product is not a health risk in any way. However, one may return it if one wishes by calling Strauss at 1-800-777-777 or on the company website.
