Beginning Sunday morning 2 Nissan, there are changes in traffic patterns at an entrance to the capital which will remain for the coming years.
After 12 days of work at a number of major intersections in the center of the capital, beginning at 4:00AM Sunday morning, 2 Nissan, for the coming four years, the roadway from Shazar Blvd. between Nordau and Aggripas Streets will be closed in both directions.
Traffic will be diverted to adjoining roads which have been widened to accommodate the increased flow of vehicles.
Included are the streets heading to Heichal HaMishpat Street, Weisman, Herzl, Derech Rabin, and Nasi 6. For those entering Jerusalem via the Cord’s Bridge towards Shachar Park, at the light by Binyanei Ha’uma, one will have to turn right towards Mishkenos Ha’uma and Cinema City or left to Sarei Yisrael/Jaffa Street, Shar Ha’ir.
