An Israel Police Coastal District spokesman reported on Thursday, 28 Adar, that 16 school children were detained on suspicion of vandalizing their school. The damaged school is in Carmel.
Police report the damage to the building was heavy, adding the attack was apparently motivated by the school canceling the class’ annual trip. In retaliation, on the night of March 10th, students vandalized the school building using paints and sprawling graffiti all around, smashing locks and doors and indiscriminately causing damage to property.
After students were questioned, 16 were arrested, linked to the criminal activity.
