The fire department was called to a blaze at Yeshivas Ohr Elchonon on Alkabetz Street on Thursday afternoon.
Police arrived on the scene with the Fire Department and began to evacuate Yeshiva Bochrim from inside the structure.
Jerusalem fire spokesman Udi Gal reports the building filled rapidly with acrid smoke and the first job was to get everyone out safely.
B’chasdei Hashem there were no reports of injuries.

This is the third fire in one week in Eretz Yisrael-Aish HaTorah,Porat Yossef,and now Ohr Elchonon!!
This is scary to read,and may Hashem shower Eretz Yisrael with rain and not fire.
