Three firebombs were hurled at IDF soldiers stationed in Chawarah S. of Shechem during the night. Baruch Hashem there was no reported injuries.

** Clalit HMO employees in 14 government hospitals are taking part in the nurses’ strike in a solidarity move.

11:40: A bus was damaged in a rock-throwing attack by Arabs near the Machpelah in Hebron. Baruch Hashem there were no injuries.

** FM Avigdor Lieberman submitted his letter of resignation in light of an imminent criminal indictment against him. The resignation takes effect in 48 hours.

** Today is day 6 of the strike of Pelephone employees, who on Sunday struck the company’s logistical center.

14:15: B’chasdei Hashem there were no injuries reported in a firebomb attack against a bus traveling in Shomron in the Chawarah area south of Shechem.

15:00: One person was lightly injured in the head in a rock-throwing attack on Gush Etzion – Hebron Highway in the Beit Omer area. The victim did not require transport to a hospital.

16:00: State Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein decided to approve the appointment of Major-General Gadi Eisenkott at the IDF deputy chief of staff.
