Shas party chairman, Minister Aryeh Deri on Wednesday evening, the eve of 14 Adar, arrived at the home of HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita for a bracha ahead of his meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. Deri wished to seek the Gadol’s advice on matters prior to his meeting with PM Netanyahu to discuss the new draft law.

Kikar Shabbos News reported the heads of the chareidi factions in Knesset were scheduled to meet with PM Netanyahu at 10:00PM, in the Prime Minister’s Office.

Deri explained a great deal rides on the meeting regarding continued limud Torah in Eretz Yisrael. Rav Kanievsky reportedly told him,

“שתיהיה הצלחה ושהקדוש ברוך הוא ישים לכם את המילים הנכונות בפה”.
