With Purim on the horizon, Minister of Agriculture Uri Ariel makes a point of encouraging Israelis to include healthy Eretz Yisrael produce in mishloach manos, sending a large package to Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein.

Speaker Edelstein was pleased to accept the package that arrived in his office on Monday, 11 Adar, a pre-Purim mishloach manos containing the finest of Israeli produce. Ariel delivered the package in person, accompanied by youths of the Bnei HaMoshavim organization as well as CEO of the Plants Council Mr. Tzvi Alon.

They all wished Edelstein a Happy Purim and Ariel explained just how hard Israeli farmers work to grow some of the finest produce in the world, using Purim to encourage Israeli to include locally-grown produce in their mishloach manos.
