The Israel Police continues its determined activity to locate and seize illegally held weapons and ammunition.

Weapons that are illegally held are often used to carry out terror attacks, commit crimes, and acts of violence.

In a planned and focused activity and in the struggle against property offenses, possession and use of weapons, police and IDF forces raided the village of Jiftlik in the Jordan Valley. During the subsequent search they found a number of weapons and ammunition. Three suspects, residents of the village, were taken for questioning.
