Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman announced on Monday, 4 Adar, that among the targets hit by the air force during the night was “underground infrastructure”, stating specifically he was referring to a Hamas terrorist tunnel in the area of the Kerem Shalom Crossing.

The IAF during the night was operating over Gaza again as fighter jets targeted terrorist objectives in retaliation for another day of rocket fire from Gaza into southern Israel.

Israel has stated that it holds the Hamas regime in Gaza responsible for any and all rocket fire over the border, and that it will retaliate as Israel sees fit.

The senior minister added the IDF remains prepared for any and all scenarios.
