Once again, Israel has returned the bodies of slain terrorists to their families for burial despite a cabinet decision not to do so, leading to the parents of Lt. Hadar Goldin, Simcha and Leah, of accusing the government of “security weakness and betrayal of IDF soldiers”.

The bodies of the terrorists responsible for the Har Adar and Karmei Tzur attacks were returned on Friday, Rosh Chodesh Adar.

In their pained statement to the media, the Goldins stated that not only if the government not bothered lying to the people, it has no issue lying to the High Court either. “It was just last Thursday that the state committed before the court to implement the cabinet decision regarding the bodies [of terrorists], and yet, 24 hours later the bodies were returned” stated the Goldins, who were outraged.

The bodies of Lt. Hadar Goldin and Sgt. Oren Shaul were snatched during fighting in Gaza during Operation Protective Edge in the summer of 2014. The parents of Hadar are continuing their unrelenting battle to compel the government to refrain from returning the bodies of terrorists, and to take additional measures towards pressuring Hamas to return the bodies for kvura in Israel.
