The Israel Dog Unit succeeded in breaking the stigma and fear of dogs that prevails in the chareidi community after they brought an operational search dog to the chasunah of a son of Rabbi Bentzion Oiring, ZAKA’s operations chief in Jerusalem.
They entered the hall with Teddy, a Belgian shepherd who was involved in many searches for missing persons. Bentzion had invited his colleagues from the unit, and the dog who he gotten to know through searches in which Bentzion had worked together them.
Moshe, Teddy’s operator, said, “Teddy was happy to make the bride and groom happy, and to eat some glatt kosher schnitzel.” The Israel Dog Unit is a unit that trains specialized dogs and operates for security purposes as well as for rescue and searching for missing persons.

Quite insane to go bring your DOG (which is not your personal service dog) into a wedding hall to dance with it. Total nonsense. Just watch how this will turn into a new trend for chasunah shtick and then “Joseph” will call it a “minhag”
On the other hand it will teach some not to be afraid of dogs and others will learn how to be kind to animals.
Forgot to ask if this male dog could visit the ladies’ side
