This is an appropriate form of protest. I wish them hatzlochoh. The others who have desecrated themselves and the Torah they purport to uphold have succeeded in nothing besides stooping to behaviors and midos that are unfitting for a ben Torah. I hope those who engage in violence against persons and property are arrested and brought to justice. Their cause should be dealt with in a Torah appropriate manner, such as this kinus in Lakewood. Learn in the zechus that the outcome of the process in government be positive. Tefiloh works. Teshuvah to be mesakein ourselves is great.
Dear the little i know,
Yes, it seems you don’t know much,
As another commentator mentioned on another news topic here not long ago,
Bar ilan st. was only closed on Shabbos due to mass violent protests, חיטוטי שכבי was ended for the same reason, the list goes on & on,
Though i wonder what the Lakewood Rabbonim would’ve done had they been sitting in EY, facing this Gezeirah?
I’m not saying that violence is the right way, but if a peaceful one ain’t working then what is the alternative? when the disabled community in Israel wanted their way they knew how to protest, right?
