A Jerusalem district police spokesperson reports that a raid took place on the homes of two PA (Palestinian Authority) residents suspected of being part of a burglary ring operating in the Beit Shemesh area. Police during recent weeks probed the case, leading to the arrest of the suspects, both in their 30s.
They were arraigned as the cases against them move forward.
At the beginning of the week, police arrested three suspects while in the act of burglarizing homes in Beit Shemesh. One suspect is 19 and the others 16. Police recovered money and a cash box stolen from one Ramat Beit Shemesh store. The remand of the 19-year-old was extended during the arraignment hearing while the minors were released to house arrest.
