Rosh Yeshivat Kisei Rachamim HaRav Meir Mazuz continues his campaign against Yisrael Beitenu chairman Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who arrived in the Big Center area in Ashdod in the middle of the Shabbos and visited a pork shop.

During a lecture, Rabbi Mazuz addressed the issue and said: “Where did Lieberman grow up? He grew up in Russia, where there is no Shabbos, where there is nothing.”

“But it is not enough for him to grow up without a Shabbos, but he goes out and fights those who observe Shabbos, and even boasting that he went to Ashdod and sat there with all the Shabbos desecrators in a cafe.”

Rabbi Mazuz concluded: “The Torah will overcome all those who fight against it.”

Rav Mazuz was referring to the recent visit to Ashdod on Shabbos by Minister Lieberman, during which he encouraged those store owners who opened on Shabbos.
