A Labor Court during the night issued an order barring the planned Egged two-hour nationwide strike on Monday, 6 Shevat, from 10:00am to noon. All drivers on all lines were to halt service for the two-hour period in response to another attack against a driver.

The planned strike was the response of drivers to attacks against drivers, insisting the two-hour strike was a warning to alert the public that attacks against drivers are not going to be tolerated.

The Labor Court permitted the strike on one line only. As such, the Egged number 59 line in Jerusalem will be striking.
