A second Palestinian terrorist connected to the attack was arrested, and a manhunt for a third suspect was ongoing. All further details were placed under a gag order, including the identity of those injured.
Palestinian media reported that dozens of IDF vehicles entered the city and confiscated security cameras at gas stations.

Reports indicate hundreds of locals gathered and threw stones at soldiers, requiring a riot-control response. There are also reports IDF bulldozers destroyed a building in the city.
