A Jewish-owned home was set on fire in the upper Galilee village of Pekiin by Druze youth, Haaretz reports. Police reported that it served as a warning by Druze youth to locals who sell their homes to Jews.
The house was purchased four months ago by a Jewish man who planned to turn it into a hostel. The house is located adjacent to the village spring in the center of town and is currently empty due to renovations.
The home owner arrived Monday morning to find that tires were set on fire inside the home causing serious damage. No one was hurt in the incident.
This is the same Druze town which saw violent clashes with Israeli cops resulting in dozens of injuries in November (reported HERE on YWN). Those riots apparently started when Israeli police entered the village to arrest a number of locals suspected of torching an Israeli cell-phone antenna.

Load these “youth” into a transport plane give them one lesson in parachuting open the hatch over Gaza, or the West Bank etc.. and say good-bye….
can we see a report on this story from the BBC ?
I am by far no expert in matters of the IDF, but given the radical actions of these Druze can they still be trusted to serve Israel? Is this generation of the Druze leaning more towards the militant arab position?
Some Druze do, not a majority especially since the Arab Palestinean Nationalism has stirred.
