Police found approximately 30 LP gas cylinders stored illegally in an unsafe fashion during operations in Jerusalem’s Old City. Police remind the tzibur of buying gas from an unlicensed company, which may not be properly checked and maintained tanks, is illegal and likely to pose a hazard.

Police raided the facility accompanied by gas inspectors, armed with a court order. They gas cylinders and other equipment were confiscated.

The preliminary report states the owner is an eastern Jerusalem resident in his 30s who is operating without a business license or permits to handle and sell LP gas.
