In the accompanying video we week a bird’s eye view of traffic on Highway 35 from an Israel Police chopper. As part of its traffic enforcement, choppers are used to monitor roadways and detect dangerous drivers, as in this case.

We can see the vehicle encircled during the video passes illegally, clearly unable to see the opposing lane, and B’chasdei Hashem avoids an accident, without a second to spare.

As seen in the video, the driver was pulled over down the road. The 58-year-old who told police the passing maneuver was not dangerous and that he had more than sufficient room to clear the oncoming vehicle. The driver was summoned to a court hearing and his license was suspended for 30 days.
