Jerusalem sanitation workers on Sunday morning, 13 Teves, held a work protest outside the Finance Ministry. dozens of garbage trucks arrived and blocked the area as well as dumping garbage to seal down the area streets.
As a result of the protest, Kaplan, Sussman, and Ravitz Streets were closed top traffic.
The protest is a continuation of the city insisting the Finance Ministry is discriminating against Jerusalem, holding back funding since Moshe Kahlon has been appointed Finance Minister because Mayor Nir Barkat backed the Likud party in the last election and not Kahlon’s Kulanu party.
