Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz is confident that the new bus driving simulator acquired by Egged will permit teaching drivers to improve their level of professionalism on the road and this will result in safer public transportation in Israel.

Katz and senior Egged officials were on hand Wednesday, 2 Teves, for the dedication of the simulator, which was manufactured by the Spanish Lander Company, a leader in the field.

The simulator was placed in the Talpiot, Jerusalem facility and it will become part of the company’s driver training program.
