Zaka officials report that after an all-night search, the body of an a missing female in the area of the Port of Ashdod has been recovered.

Zaka Ashdod district Chief Avi Deri reported on Monday morning 30 Kislev, “Yesterday, during the evening hours, we were summoned to the frontal command post on the Ashdod shore by police to involve us in the search for a missing 49-year-old woman who apparently went missing in the water. Tens of volunteers joined police in the search. Sadly, what began as a rescue mission ended as recovery and the body was found”. The family has been notified”.

Zaka worked to expedite police release of the body to issue a permit for timely burial.
