During times as these, with many violent Palestinian riots in areas of Jerusalem, elite undercover units of the IDF, Border Police and other agencies operate under harsh life-threatening conditions to get hands on some of the most wanted suspects.
In the attached videos and photos we see uncover units apprehending suspects as military vehicles quickly move in to assist and take the suspect away.
The arrests occured after a violent riot of about 400 Palestinians in Ramallah on Wednesday, as rioters burned tires and threw Molotov cocktails and stones, according to the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit.

The problem with this technique is that the undercover agents end up as “agents provocateurs” (i.e. they encourage the crime they are arresting people for). Many feel this undercover technique is what led to Yitzhak Rabin’s death. Given the lack of a respectable (lacking due process, such as we in American have, at least in theory) court system in Israel, this is especially problematic.
