Four-year-old Jerusalem resident Shimon ben Rochel Beila remains in Shaare Zedek Medical Center, intubated and connected to a respirator in an intensive care unit.
The child was transported from his home in the Ramot area of the capital on Thursday morning 19 Kislev post CPR, after his spontaneous pulse returned. The child, from a chareidi family, did not wake up on Thursday. EMS was summoned to Wallenstein Street in Ramot.
United Hatzalah responded and began CPR and the child’s pulse returned at one point. EMT Avi Gotleib reports the child was in cardiac arrest when he arrived at the home and his condition was critical after his pulse returned, at which time he was transported.
