It has been over 20 years since the disappearance of IDF soldier Guy Chever, who left his Golan Heights area base heading home, but never arrived.
KAN11 News reported on Sunday evening the eve of 9 Kislev that on last Thursday, IDF soldiers and police personnel raided a center for the mentally ill in the Bedouin community of Rahat in the Negev. They were acting on a tip connecting to the location of Chever.
A state representative found a man in the institution whose identity is questionable, and it may be Chever, the missing soldier.
As they began probing it was determined that the man was not Chever, to the disappointment of all, especially his family.
