Rishon L’Tzion Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef Shlita, who is in California on an official chizuk mission to the local community, will be attending the chasenah of the daughter of philanthropist Yaakov Kochav in Mexico.

Kochav is counted among the wealthier members of the Mexico Jewish community and regularly contributes to Sephardi yeshivot including mosdos affiliated with the Yosef family in Eretz Yisrael

Numerous other prominent Sephardi rabbonim are heading to Mexico to take part in the family simchas as well.

The Rishon L’Tzion and brother HaRav David Yosef Shlita are taking advantage of being in California to participate in the wedding in Mexico. Other rabbonim expected to be in attendance are HaRav Shimon Ba’adani, HaRav Yehuda Deri, HaRav Eliyahu Aba Shaul, HaRav Shlomo Englander, HaRav Tzvi Rotenberg and HaRav Shmuel Rabinowitz.
