An esrog grower from Bnei Brak a number of weeks before Sukkos arrived at the home of HaRosh Yeshiva HaGaon HaRav Aaron Yehuda Leib Shteinman Shlita to show him a most unique esrog, weighing in at 7.5 kilograms. He also showed other large ones but only one that reached such unique size proportions.
Due to a blemish on the esrog it is not mehudar, but the grower explained it is kosher according to all should one wish to make a bracha on it. He also presented the gadol hador with a large esrog for himself and without a doubt; the event brought a smile to the gadol hador’s face as is evident by the photos.
