Anti-Christian graffiti discovered at a church located on Har Tzion in Jerusalem’s Old City. The attack was condemned by President Peres and Chief Rabbi Metzger, with the latter warning of the ramifications of such actions by those who believe “they are fixing the world”.
** Lebanese media reports state Hizbullah commander in Syria, Ali Hussein Nassif was killed in an operation.
** Beersheva resident apprehended on Route 40 in south driving with a suspended license and an uninspected vehicle. He was transporting 180 flats of eggs believed to be smuggled from a PA (Palestinian Authority) autonomous area. (Each flat is 30 eggs).
** Moshe Feiglin, who heads the Likud Manhigut Yehudit faction, was arrested on Har HaBayis first day of chol hamoed after trying to daven at the location. One Arab male who threatened police with a knife was taken into custody. A number of others found to be concealing a weapon were arrested as well.
** There is a nationwide milk shortage due to the Tishrei yomim tovim.
