A new poll by Professor Camille Fuchs of the ‘Midgam institute for the Walla News website reveals that if the elections were held today, Shas headed by Aryeh Deri would receive three Knesset seats and not pass the threshold.

According to the survey, if the elections were held today, the Likud led by Binyamin Netanyahu would have won 27 Knesset seats. Yesh Atid headed by Yair Lapid will win 21 seats and the Machane Tzioni headed by Avi Gabbai 19 seats. The joint Arab list will win 11 Knesset seats and Bayit Yehudi headed by Naftali Bennett will have 10 seats.

Yahadut Hatorah is strengthening to eight Knesset seats and Kulanu headed by Moshe Kahlon are weakening to eight seats. Yisrael Beitenu, headed by Avigdor Lieberman is unable to take off beyond seven seats, and Meretz will also win seven seats.

The poll also probed Yair Lapid joining with Moshe Kahlon and former IDF Chief Gabi Ashkenazi. In such a scenario, the party would receive 33 seats and Likud would be in second place with 26, Machane Tzioni 17, Arab List 11, Bayit Yehudi 9, Yahadut Hatorah, Yisrael Beitenu and Meretz with 7 each and Shas 3.

The poll was conducted among 602 respondents representative of a cross-section of voting adults in the Jewish and Arab sectors.
