Chareidim were back protesting in the streets of Yerushalayim, in the Geula area, on Wednesday afternoon, 19 Cheshvan. In the video and photos, we can see bus traffic was blocked. We also see the driver trying to calmly return a windshield wiper to its proper place to prevent damage.
The sign displayed says “Russia is Here” and “[Defense Minister Avigdor] Evette Lieberman = Stalin”.
It also says, “You can kill us but you cannot draft us into the Shmad army”.

Looks like they are doing a great job.
Here we go again. Do these people understand what ביטול תורה means? Or are they so invested in their own obsessions that nothing else in the world matters? Today’s report is that Rav Auerbach himself denied being the source for the not registering, and kal vachomer the protests.

R Shmuel simply said he didn’t publicise this psak himself, but gave it in response to individual shoalim. Which obviously makes very little difference, and its a bit of a mystery what the whole story there was at all
