United Hatzalah responder Dr. Doron Spierer together with other personnel were called to the protest tent set up outside of the Prime Minister’s Residence in Jerusalem on Tuesday afternoon to treat a member of one of the bereaved families who is protesting after she fainted while hunger-striking.
United Hatzalah Spokesperson, EMT Moti Elmaliach, who also treated the patient said: “According to reports by those nearby, the woman has been on a hunger strike for three days now. She complained of severe weakness and chest pains. We took her vital signs and treated her at the protest tent until the ambulance arrived to transport her to the hospital.”
