Children without seatbelts, a driver’s license that has expired for more than 10 years, a vehicle without a valid registration, and traveling in a public bus lane. This is the vehicle police stopped on Sunday morning, 16 Cheshvan, leading to the arrest of the mom of five children who drove her children to schools.

“To see a vehicle with small children without seatbelts, some of whom sit on the floor of the vehicle and the driver does not have a valid driver’s license, it is one of the most dangerous offenses. The children’s lives may end in a single moment.” police said.

Officers assigned to traffic enforcement in the capital, the city center, noticed that a vehicle were traveling illegally on a public transportation lane. When police told the driver to stop, they noticed that five children of different ages were sitting in the front and back seats while they were not in the safety seats or seatbelts. One of the girls was sitting on the floor.

An examination conducted by the police about the identity of the driver (32) revealed that her driver’s license expired 11 years ago, and that the vehicle registration expired six months earlier.

The preliminary assessment revealed the driver was the children’s mother, and she was driving them to their various schools. Her vehicle was taken off the road and she will be brought before a traffic court judge expeditiously.
