A criminal indictment was filed in the Lod District Court on Sunday, 9 Cheshvan, against suspects in the murder case off Elkana resident Reuven Schmerling HY”D. Mr. Schmerling was found beaten and stabbed in a locker in his Kfar Kassam factory on erev Sukkos. His levaya took place on erev Shabbos Chol Hamoed Sukkos.
The suspects were arrested in a joint investigation involving police, IDF and Shin Bet units. Indictments were filed against Yousef Khaled, Mustafa Camil Muhmad and Ziad Abu Orlov, all residents of Kabatya in Shomron.
