On Shabbos afternoon a Jewish 12-year-old boy was hit by a large rock that was thrown at him and two other children who were with him near the Spring of Avraham in Hebron. The boy, a resident of the Tel Romeda neighborhood suffered a serious head injury and lost consciousness for a short time as a result of being hit by the rock. The boy fell into the spring after being hit by a rock and miraculously did not drown.
The children recuperated and raced back to Tel Romeda to get help and receive medical treatment. The ambulance driver from the community rushed the child to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem for treatment. The child was hospitalized and received 10 stitches, he is being kept for observation and continued treatment.
