IDF officials have announced they will permit the general public to decide on the insignia that will be used to represent it for Israel’s 70th anniversary. There are three options to select from and the deadline for voting is Sunday, 9 Cheshvan. voting on the insignia began on Wednesday, 28 Tishrei. One may visit the official voting website.

According to the Yisrael Hayom report, three different graphic designers were used to prepare the options, which have all been approved by IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-General Gadi Eizenkott. The winner will be the insignia appearing in all official events including the IDF marking Israel’s 70th birthday.

Yisrael Hayom adds that in addition to the insignia appearing at events, it will be on official documents.

In a directly related matter, “Everyone’s Victory” has been selected as the official slogan to lead official state Independence Day events.
