Kinneret Drops 70 Centimeters Over the Summer


The Kinneret, the nation’s main potable water source, dropped 70 centimeters (27.5) inches over the summer. The level currently measures 97 centimeters (38 inches) above the red line, Water Authority officials report on Sunday, 8 Elul 5772. The experts predict the Kinneret will drop an additional 60 centimeters (23.5 inches) before the start of the rain season.
