President Reuven Rivlin on Monday morning 26 Tishrei, at his residence, met with Rabbi Dr. Ari Berman, President of Yeshiva University in New York, together with faculty member, Israel’s former Ambassador to the US, and former Deputy Minister Danny Ayalon.

The President spoke with Rabbi Berman, who took office in June, about the importance of Yeshiva University, and of the emphasis the institution placed on combining Torah and Jewish studies, with academic excellence in other fields. The President also thanked Rabbi Berman for the University’s unwavering support for the State of Israel and the Jewish people around the world.
