Police are probing a hate crime including anti-Semitic graffiti in Rova 7 in Ashdod, a chareidi area. The graffiti was pointed on walls in the area, stating “Chareidim get out of here” and “Ashdod is becoming chareidi” alongside curses and expletives that cannot be reported in this forum.
The vandals also damaged the vehicle of a chareidi resident who built a sukka. Police crime investigation technicians arrived on the scene to gather evidence.
Kikar Shabbos News quotes a number of chareidi residents who explain there is a handful of non-chareidim in the area that strongly oppose their presence. Chareidi community leaders are calling on police to find those responsible,
