Pollsters report that if former Shas leader Rav Aryeh Deri runs with his own independent part in the next general elections, he will earn at least six seats. It appears the votes that Deri receive will come primarily from Shas as the pollsters add that if Deri runs, Shas is expected to drop drastically, to six seats from the current eleven.

why would he run separately?
It should not be a surprise to anyone. It seems the main
qualification needed to be a MK is lack of honesty, and he also is a graduate of the penal system
May the creator of all have mercy on his people
I would stick with SHAS rather than join in with Deri the pacifist,, he is very similiar to the Labor party.
YECHI, do you care to know what the punishment is for lashon harah b’rabim and motzi shem rah b’rabim is? Learn meseches ערכין, daf 15,b.
I still believe that Rabbi Deri did nothing different than the other 119 members of the Knesset. Being Sephardi did not help him when it came to finding him guilty.
SHAS would love to have him back, just not as the head of the party.
number 2: the rebbe wouldnt be to proud of you…
A threat is that he would have enough seats to challenge the Hiloni elite rule of Eretz Yisrael. Re-slicing the frum vote and pasting it back together again accomplished nothing. TO be meaningful, the Hareidi and Dati Leumi have to have enough seats between to form a government – and they aren’t even close.
