Following the summit held on Wednesday 7 Tishrei between Shas Moetzas Gedolei Torah and other prominent Sephardi Rabbonim Shlita, now there are those who wish to continue the process with another step, and to find out, it is known that there is a possibility of holding a joint reception ‘Kabolas Pnei Rabbo’ on Chol Hamoed Sukkos for the three Sephardic rabbis: HaGaon HaRav Shalom Cohen Shlita, Jerusalem Sephardi Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar Shlita and HaGaon HaRav Meir Mazuz Shlita, Rosh Yeshivas Kisei Rachamim,

The move was already initiated as the meeting was taking place, aware such a move would have a significant impact on potential Shas voters, such achdus on Chol Hamoed Sukkos. Some believe have Rav Cohen and Rav Amar together is a real possibility, and doing so could have a great positive impact on the party in the future. Even if such an event occurs, and if Rav Mazuz is a participant, none of the politicians from Shas or Yachad would participate but this would remain an exclusive forum of the rabbonim.
