During the joint operation of IDF forces from the Yehuda Brigade, together with the Shin Bet, border police and the Israel Police in the village of Yata, funds belonging to the terrorist organization Hamas were seized by the family of the terrorist who murdered Daphne Meir HY”D at her home in Otniel in January 2016.

During the operation, the forces seized about 48,000 shekels. The money was apparently earmarked for the rebuilding of the family house of the terrorist after it was destroyed by the security forces after the attack.

In addition, in the city of Hebron, the forces found thousands of shekels held by an activist in an illegal charity association belonging to Hamas. These actions join many activities that are being carried out in order to prevent the transfer of funds to encourage terror and provide retaliation to the families of terrorists.
