Monday Morning News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


07:37: Rocket fired from Gaza lands in an open area in the Shar HaNegev District. No injuries or damage reported.

** MK (Bayit HaYehudi) was lightly injured in a vehicular accident. He was released from Shaare Zedek Medical Center after a few hours, releasing a statement “I thank HKBH for saving me from the accident”. The MK’s vehicle sustained significant damage.

09:30: A driver lost control over his vehicle and rammed into a bus stop at French Hill in Jerusalem. Five people were injured lightly.

10:30: The Kerem Shalom Crossing to Gaza remains closed today following the terror attack at that location Sunday night.

10:59: Plus: Rocket launch in the Chof Ashkelon Regional Council. No injuries reported.

11:07: A female physician was assaulted and lightly injured in a Kupat Cholim clinic on Yehuda Karnei Street in the capital.

11:33: Social justice protestors played cat and mouse with police, intermittently block the entrance to Knesset this morning.
