IDF Chief Sends a Message to Iran and the White House

With a constant stream of senior American officials continuing to visit Israel and meet with senior government and military officials, IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz sent a clear message to both Iran and the White House today, Tuesday 12 Menacham Av 5772.

As America’s national security advisor and secretary of defense meet with Israeli state leaders towards pressuring Israel not to launch a unilateral military offensive against Iran without US approval, Ganz stated “all options remain on the table” when asked about an imminent Israeli air strike against Iran’s nuclear program.

Ganz told reports in the IDF’s induction base that Iran has not halted its nuclear program and efforts to build a nuclear bomb and this global and regional problem cannot be ignored. He explains that what is unique in this situation is that all the while Iran is working on its atom bomb, it continues to call for wiping out another country, namely Israel.

Ganz made a point of saying that when he exclaims “all options remain on the table” it is far more than just a phrase or slogan, but a reality check.
