According to multiple reports, the Israeli Military bombed what appears to be a chemical weapons facility in Syria.
The plant is known as the Scientific Studies Researchers Center, or Centre D’Etudes et de Recherches Scientifiques (CERS). It is located near the city of Masyaf, near Hama in central Syria.
Some reports state that the IAF also targeted several weapons convoys that were en route to Hezbollah strongholds in the area.
There was no statement issued by the Israeli or Syrian Governments as of this report.
It is interesting to note, that today marks exactly ten years to the day since “Operation orchard”, in which the Israeli Military destroyed the Assad Regimes nuclear reactors which appear to have been built with help from North Korea.
