Undoubtedly the launching of an official Kosel Facebook page will be met with mixed reaction. For some, the response will be “It’s about time” while others will mourn the entry of the Kosel on social media.
As the word spreads, many will be quick to visit and leave their mark, while some may boycott it or simply share their disapproval over the page with others on the page itself.
For good or for bad the Kosel is now a member of the Facebook community along with countless others.

Will the Kosel “like” other pages?
Doesn’t really matter whether it is approved of by sections of the community who don’t have any understanding of what Facebook is; The Koissel on Facebook is now a fact of life. I think that more so than other elements of modern technology, Facebook and Twitter and other similar social media sites are dangerous to young people. For that reason it is a shame that the Koissel is now there. It somehow gives a hechsher to what is intrinsically dangerous and bad.

Facebook in general, is a big waste of time. Who cares what you ate for lunch or where you had your hair done or how big the 3X suit you just bought looks on you??????? What a waste of time. Get a life.
