Yad Sarah launches the Israel’s most advanced emergency medicine center, with its first permanent team of specialists in women, children and internal medicine. Rabbi Uri Lupoliansky states they will provide urgent service to members of all the health funds, during the hours when the community clinics are not operating – all in cooperation with Shaare Zedek Medical Center and with its professional backing.
The highlight of the process is to provide a more professional and effective response to the patients with an emphasis on treatment of women, children and the elderly, which are the main cases in emergency care centers.
President and Founder of Yad Sarah, Rabbi Uri Lupoliansky notes that Yad Sarah is leading a revolution in the quality of care in the community, and that this is a real message to the Jerusalem audience that he can now receive emergency medical service without compromising the quality of the treatment. And the service tradition in Yad Sarah, with all my heart.
Prof. Yonatan Halevi, Medical Director of Shaare Zedek Medical Center: “Shaare Zedek Medical Center is pleased to cooperate with Yad Sarah. The cooperation between two institutions working for the welfare of the city’s residents will make it easier for those in urgent need of medical care who do not require hospitalization. ”
It should be noted that the establishment of the Yad Sarah Emergency Medical Center is intended to prevent the referral of patients who are relatively light to hospitals, and may serve a dual purpose: first, to release pressure and density from existing emergency rooms; Second – to expedite and improve the treatment of the less urgent cases, which are naturally not priorities. This separation between patients intended for complex and prolonged treatment and hospitalization and those suffering from a transient problem will also prevent exposure of “light” patients to bacteria and infections, according to Yad Sarah’s approach. This goal, as we shall recall, was also at the basis of the organization’s home hospitalization project.
According to Yad Sarah’s holistic approach, patients at the new center will immediately be able to receive the range of services they need following the illness or injury – lending medical equipment, transport and more.
The establishment of the new emergency medicine center was accompanied by the best experts in the various professional fields, in medicine, in equipment and in other infrastructures, and a great deal of thought and resources were invested in it, with an emphasis on every detail – all for the benefit of the patients. Such as an advanced queue management system that interfaces with the treatment protocol, which will significantly shorten the stay at the center. And more.
The center is located in an accessible location, on the entry level of Yad Sarah House, adjacent to the bus and light rail stations. And a parking lot for private cars.
Dr. Noam Bar, medical director of the new emergency services said: “I believe that the Emergency Medicine Center will serve as a model for other centers, both in the unique emphasis of Sarah on the patient’s professional experience and in the professional aspect, which will include the provision of medical services by the staff to the various fields of primary medicine.”
