“The tremendous satisfaction of these children will be a new and restored kindergarten, and this says the world along with strengthening the connection with all communities, including the chareidi community, and this is a significant milestone for us,” said the police.

During the past week, the policemen of the Lev HaBira station performed renovations in a chareidi kindergarten where children are studying in a low socioeconomic status, whose maintenance and conditions were poor and precarious.

During the renovation, the floor was replaced, the walls were repainted, the interior doors were repaired, and the garden was redesigned to suit the character of children. In addition, repairs and defects were made to ensure the safety of the children.

The connection between the chareidi community is a non-profit officer at the Lev HaBira station and the rebitzen who runs the kindergarten, and this led to the renovations in which the station’s policemen took part and with the help of a contractor from the chareidi sector who offered his help in supplying some of the raw materials.

The renovations took place during the past week and lasted about five days, during which the station’s policemen arrived every morning from kindergarten and renovated it from the ground up.

The children and staff who entered the renovated garden at the beginning of the school year were very moved by the appearance and the inviting and renewed design.
