New Election Poll In Israel Shows Likud’s Numbers Are Improving


A new election poll for conducted for Maariv Online by the Geocartography Institute shows Likud headed by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu continues to gain popularity.

According to the poll, if elections were held today, PM Netanyahu would earn at least 34 seats, four more than Likud earned in the current Knesset. The Yesh Atid party headed by Yair Lapid takes the second slot with 14 seats, followed by Machane Tzioni (Labor) with 13, Bayit Yehudi 13, Arab Bloc 10, Kulanu (Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon) 10, Yahadut Hatorah 9, Meretz 7, Yisrael Beitenu 6, and in last place, Shas with 4, the minimum number of seats required to enter Knesset.
