Soldiers spotted the PA (Palestinian Authority) resident approaching them at a Tapuach Junction checkpoint on Shabbos evening at about 6:00PM. They instructed him to stop and identify himself. Instead, he continued towards them and pulled a knife. They opened fire and gravely wounded 17-year-old terrorist from PA (Palestinian Authority) controlled Tukaram, who was brandishing a knife.

B’chasdei Hashem they were quick to act, opening fire at their attacker before any of the intended victims could be stabbed. One soldier was very light injured.

The attacker was pronounced dead in a PA (Palestinian Authority) hospital.
