Culture Minister (Likud) Miri Regev was quoted responding to allegations that chareidim were turned down from renting the Jerusalem Theater due to discrimination. Regev stated it is “inconceivable”, adding there is no issue with separate seating either.
Regev added her ministry does not fund the theater, asking Mayor Barakat to become involved for she feels it is of the utmost importance to prevent this type of discrimination in the capital and elsewhere.
